That’s hurts !! looking at the wait times are bizzare. Wrong decision by Tesla to manufacture standard range in Austin.

Congrats!... did they send you a text regarding scheduling your delivery date? My edd is 6/16-20, but no scheduled delivery date yet.
I got the text right after the payment portion was taken care of. Had them update to financing and once done it had the green check in the app, I got the text like an hour later. Then the email came a couple hours later.

Took home delivery today. Looks amazing. Unfortunately there were a few issues after driving around for a bit. Still love it. Just not perfect but this was expected.
1. From complete stop, turning left or right there is a thumping noise from under the driver side only from acceleration. After you straighten out all quiet.
2. Going over speed bumps, squeaky noise coming from rear trunk area, maybe a loose rubber piece somewhere
3. Panel gaps were all good with exception of trim on driver door, pokes out just a tad, prob within spec but will have them look at it anyway

As long as U are happy that's all it counts
Sad that Tesla owners are "expected" some defects. We owned a 1987 Camry, 2007 RAV4 and currently 2015 Lexus CT200h and we expect NOTHING but the BEST
Just a funny story about quality control. Back in the 70s when quality control of Made-in-USA cars was at its worst then USA needed help from Japan (where they learn quality control from Dr. Deming a quality Guru of USA). USA told Japan "we want that part made at 10% rejects", they did that, then USA said "now I want only 5% rejects" , they did it gain, then USA said "now we want 2% reject"... USA was astonished because Japan did it again. USA company then said "could U have made the parts at 2% rejects in the first place" to which (I am not an English major) the Japanese replied "yes BUT U asked for 10% rejects... Again, a funny story about quality control

MYP black ordered on March 15th with tow like you and black interior .
My first EDD was May now it’s July to September so really vague , no exact dates . I live in NB Canada so east cost as well.
I would like my EDD to be sometime in July …

I’m curious, when did your trade in offer expire? I wonder if that correlates with anything? For reference I ordered a black MYP on 6/5/22 w EDD 8/22-10/2 and my trade in offer expires 7/5/22. I’m not taking it and will sell my vehicle to Cargurus for 6k more.
