Got a text today that the car basically left the factory and that to be on the lookout for another text to schedule my appointment for delivery! Pretty exciting.

My edd is 8/1-8/5 but it almost sounds that yhe car will be arriving to NY sooner!

Originally 3/5. I had a vin in June but I couldn't take delivery because I was abroad. Put on hold, removed the hold on 7/1 and here we are today.

My paint was flawless. Looked like it was ceramic coated. Luck of the draw I guess!

Can anyone comment on the paint quality of the black? Has there been any improvement as of late? I wish I had enough disposable income to wrap with stealth PPF. It looks so amazing IMO.

Annnnnd… Delivery is pushed.. was all set to take delivery at 2pm today. SA called this morning to say that a latch on the trunk needs to be replaced and the part won’t be in until the end of the week. Soonest I can reschedule is next Tuesday. Bummed, but I kinda figured something like this would rear its ugly head. Now we get to shuffle our work schedules once again.

My EDD changed to 8/6 to 8/10 this morning. Got a call from Tesla just moments ago and they said that my car is headed to Puerto Rico. They had to unmatch me from the car. Will see how long it takes to get a new Vin...

They finally removed the Vin but kept the delivery date of 8/6-8/10. Hopefully, will get a new Vin soon and car will make it to the correct location this time...
