Black + OptiCoat Pro + Swirls?

it all depends on how the swirls are induced. Thru the use of a dirty towel or wash mitt, by rubbing on the surface, etc.

I love your quote Pete! "If you think a professional detailer is expensive. Wait until you hire an amateur." Soooo true!

Sorry, I should have phrased better. If one were to create swirl marks in the OC coating, how difficult is it then to remove these swirls?

If the damage is really deep, you will just have to Polish off OptiCoat (or any coating for that matter) and reapply. Most of our clients choose CQuartz FINEST because it looks the best and protects the best while it is on the car and they plan to reapply in a couple of year anyway since no coating is a force-field impervious to all damage. Most people who are really into how their car looks will want to recoat somewhere between a year or 2. OptiCoat is the best choice for someone who wants to protect the paint and not worry about high maintenance car care. CQuartz FINEST is the best choice for someone who wants their car to look its best and doesn't mind a bit more attention to the car as it holds up for between 2 and 3 years.

If however, the damage is extremely shallow, it is feasible to get away with an extremely light polish without fully removing the coating. It will be thinned out though.
