I want to black wrap the chrome around my MS windows with the 3M 1080 vinyl. Which looks better, the matte or the satin finish. MS is dark blue.

Matte Black around the windows, nose cone, trunk trim. Door handles in the closest Avery or 3M film you can find. Avery Night Blue Matte Metallic - SW900 623-M

I personally prefer the Avery film over the 3M for for color. The avery matte black is SW900 180-O. Avery also has a Black Chrome, although the book I have doesn't have a number for it.

Satin black. It has some sheen to it which makes it nicer than matte

Here's what I did...i'd mix it up...using one treatment throughout IMO makes it look flat.

Thanks for all the info. Wormhole - your car was part of the inspiration to do the chrome. Our MS won't be as stealth as yours but the chrome will be subdued.
