Just picked up by brand new Model S and I'd like to get a Blackvue 650 dash cam installed. Any recommendations in the Philly area for a reliable installer who has worked on Teslas in the past?

    Thanks!

I an in Houston so can't help on an installer in the Philly area. However the installation is very easy. I bought my
BLACKVUE DASH CAM FOR TESLA MODEL S
    from
BlackVue Dash Cam for Tesla Model S
They have full instruction and there are videos on how to do it as well.
I installed front are rear cam's up in less then an hr. took more time configuring the settings for the sensitivity levels, registering it with the cloud, and connecting it to myfi.
If your not handy, I am sure any local auto audio installer could do this, print all the instruction from evannex.com. I recommend an audio installer over a mechanic because there more likely to understand the wiring.

    good luck.

Thanks Ricky. I'm fairly handy overall, but I am a bit nervous tearing things apart in my brand new >$100k car...

Did you ever find someone? I'm curious for installation in my Model X.

I'm thinking about it for my X, too. I haven't found any reports in Philly installers for Xs yet.

I'll definitely ask. I plan on reaching out to them in October or November when I slow down. I read that in a previous thread somewhere and there were many others who may do the same.
