I like Live view from anywhere and the push notification if an impact happens. Live is fast. And if I need to look at the event date via sd I can.

Good to know. Yes, live view is fast. I wonder if cloud is so bad because of the size/bitrate of the video. I guess I could make it lower quality just don't want to do that

You don't want a fast bit rate AS card. They over heat the unit and lost quality.

Yea I've been playing with my new BlackVue install and cloud seems pretty useless due to being so slow. Would only be useful for getting an event notification while parked at home, and changing firmware settings.

It will do this if you have hot spot in the car which is what I did

I guess i could leave my iPad with a cell chip in there as a hotspot. Would have to monitor how much data it used though. Anyway know? It's not continuouslly uploading video right? Only if you view it?

What hotspot are you using and how did you power it?
Mine is size of a wallet. Plugs into usb so always charged. Mine has 10g of 4g and unlimited 3g. Verizon mifi. It does not use much data unless your always live or pulling vids.

Great if you have an event happen you live in and or view the vid.

I have a mifi but it keeps disconnecting with blackvue. I get a pop-up on my phone every 3-5 min. Do you have this problem?

Just got my DR650S-2CH installed. Trying to use the cloud. I registered the camera through the app via the BlackVue Cloud option and that seemed to go fine. But when the camera powers on in the car (when I restart it) I get the announcement that "This camera is not cloud compatible" even though from all the model numbers, box specs, packaging inserts say that it is. A quick Google search reveals other people who have run into this same behavior, but I haven't seen what the solution is. Can any fellow Tesla owners help, please? Thanks!

I emailed Pittasoft and have yet to hear back from them.
