BlackVue Direct Wire Dash Cam Settings

Ok, I know a lot of Model S owners have BlackVue cams installed. Sorry, I'm just a little confused about the Parking Mode related settings.

Mine is direct wired to the 12V connection, so it always has power. I guess I kind of thought it would just always be fully on, recording full all the time. Park Mode seems cool in that it goes off when motion is detected, and does seem to capture a lot, but feeling like it still might miss some things relying on that.

So, do you guys leave it in Park Mode or set it to something else?

Which model? I installed mine a couple of days ago and it auto switches from driving to park mode depending on vehicle movement.

As @Fleer said, I didn't remember choosing which but it just goes to Park Mode and wakes up on Drive all on its own.

You don't get to decide if it goes into and out of Parking mode. It does it automatically. Yes, you are correct. Its cool how it does it.
I've had Blackvue's in my S's since 2014. I have a pair of two channels in right now. Provides me 360 degrees of coverage.
