Blind Spot Chime Not Working

Just picked up my new X & noticed that the BlindSpot chime is not working. I do see cars on the driver display turn red when I put my blinker on & they are in the blindspot . I am running 2020.44.15. Has anyone come across this & know how to fix it ? Thanks

It does not Chime until you actually move towards the other car. Much less conservative than typical BlindSpot implementations.
It's a common complaint that hopefully they will change some day. I think their idea is less falsing and only Chimes if there is an imminent collision.
