I got this message yesterday after driving for the first time after the 12.1.2 update. Car was clean, so I suspect it was a bug. Went away next drive.
I get the message every day when I’m backing out of my garage. I have no idea why.
I got it a few mornings when it is wet after rain. I parked outside. It went way after I drove it for a few minutes. I was thinking it was water in front of the side cameras.

I get the same message when backing out of my garage or out of an underground parking spot with a wall on one side of the car. Both cameras on the side of the car have a limited view because of the wall of the garage or parking spot.

I started getting this on 2019.8.5 almost every morning. After a min or two it would always disappear. More than likely morning dew.
But many of us are getting it after being parked in our garages. No morning dew there. I wonder if it doesn’t like the garage walls or something.

Had this since 8.3 or 8.5 in the morning backing out of the garage. Goes away a minute after out of the garage.
I actually took mine in to have Telsa check on it. They found no issue. No water or condensation. Cameras are working properly (this is what I wanted to confirm) and they said it's a known issue in the firmware that a future firmware release should fix.
I'm now on 12.1.1 and I think I still saw it yesterday.

I get it when backing out of the garage now (2019.8.5). I assumed it was due to the new GPS controlled mirrors being folded and possibly interfering with the sensors.

Oops...didn't see the people having the issues were those that were in garages. My mistake. It's almost certainly a firmware issue. Not the biggest deal in the world but definitely an annoyance.

Glad I checked here, it's not just me! It just started recently and happens regularly when I'm leaving the underground parking garage at my work. The first time it happened I wiped off the camera, but that was not it. I currently have 12.1.2 in my M3. The problem goes away once I'm out of the garage. It seems pretty clear this is a result of one of the recent releases; however, is it a bug giving incorrect results, or is it now correctly reporting an actual problem with blind spot detection?
