We booked a room at the Clarion in Harper’s Ferry without investigating chargers. Once there, PlugShare indicated 2 Tesla Destination Chargers and two other chargers at our hotel. But reviews showed the chargers were mostly blocked by ”a tent”.
Well the tent is gone, but 3 of the 4 chargers are largely blocked by an expanded seating area for a restaurant. The cable for the Destination Charger reached, and dutifully charged @ about 50 mph, but it would be darn annoying if more than 1 Tesla showed up.
Seems odd they’d go to the expense of installing chargers and then treat them like that.
As an aside, we drove through heavy rain yesterday, but we’re treated to quite the rainbow at our destination:
