GM issued yet another recall today.
GM recalls 3 million: Brakes, lights, wipers, steering
What caught my eye are the sentences far down in the article:
"The company issued a technical service bulletin concerning the problem in 2008, and recalled a small group of 2005 model-year cars in January 2009."
So my question is - what did the dealers, the ones who are on the consumers' side, do to proactively notify their customers on this issue back then? What DIFFERENCE did they make?
