Like someone mentioned earlier in the thread, it would be nice to know if the German equipment has arrived. I was thinking that was the reason for the 4 days shutdown, they may have been installing the equipment at the GF and getting it online.

The shutdown was in fremont, the german equipment is going in to reno.

Actually both according to the PR statement

Our Model 3 production plan includes periods of planned downtime in both Fremont and Gigafactory 1. These periods are used to improve automation and systematically address bottlenecks in order to increase production rates. This is not unusual and is in fact common in production ramps like this.

The shutdown from 2/20-24 was for the Fremont plant. The PR statement was just referencing general plans (for example, needing to shut down the Gigafactory when the new equipment arrives).
