Technically, yes, next year's run is completely sold out. Even if they didn't sell another Sig, they'd still have the total production run sold out.

Now, who actually receives the cars could change via Sig reservations.

ehh... Let's just say Tesla definitely sold fewer Roadsters than they had said they intended to back in 2006.

That's why I think the next roadster will definitely have at least vestigial seats. The 2-seat with a single golf bag sized trunk was just too impractical for most folks.

I wish he'd been a bit less derogatory towards BYD. He's not wrong, but it would have been better to play up Tesla's advantages ("we think we have a better car, both technically and aesthetically") and leave off bashing BYD.

Mr. Musk looked confident about the success of the Model S and TM going forward. As for BYD, I do not see the interest from the consumer.
