Bluetooth setup between car and ipad

i manage to sync my iphone of course with my tesla model 3. Not to only to start my phone but to listen to music from my iphone via bluetooth connection. Trying to have my tesla recognized (blue tooth connection) my ipad. I would like to view u tube music using my ipad and listen to the music with my car speakers. Am i missing something. Need to download an application something like mirror image from iphone to ipad and have the car recognized my iphone with sounds?

Are you saying that you could not connect your ipad to the tesla entertainment system via bluetooth?
I have connected my wife's Fire tablet via bluetooth so that we could listen to her audio book. You should be able to do the same with an iPad.
There was a problem though. When the Fire was connected, my phone was disconnected. Anyone able to connect a tablet and a phone at the same time?
