Yea, Tesla needs to act ASAP! BMW is obviously trying to infringe on the Tesla Phantom braking patent. That’s my favorite features of FSD, wouldn’t have pulled the trigger without it.

Not similar at all - this BMW fault seems to have been a physical defect (a short) between wires of the sensor unit.

Having said that the radar unit on my Nissan Navara fairly often give an audio warning at metal overhead bridges and sometimes at metal signs on bends in the road. Whilst this system can apply the brakes it has never done so (yet!) at these events.
