One of the first companies to create chatter about an electric pickup truck was Bollinger Motors. The public received its first glimpse Bollinger’s “sport-utility truck” concept at a press event in New York in September 2017. Two years later, the company has moved its headquarters from Hobart, NY to near Detroit for final engineering and...

What does "10" tire travel" mean? If you mean distance traveled in one rotation, it must be equipped with 3 3/16" diameter tires. Given that ground clearance is claimed to be 15", perhaps that value might be 110" tire travel on 35" diameter tires?

"…fit a stack of 4x8s in with the tailgate closed". 4x8 by what length? 8', 10', 12'?

pssst...
'10 inch tire travel' = 10 inches vertical travel.
'stack of 4x8s' = 4x8 sheets of drywall/plywood/etc

Thanks.

In many years involved with construction, I have never heard anyone refer to plywood or drywall as 4x8s. If you go to a lumber yard and ask for 4x8s, they will ask what species and what length and do you want them s4s or rough.

As to tire travel. I googled the term and got nothing except "distance traveled in one revolution".

Common in auto talk to say 10" travel. Simply, as stated by others it is vertical travel.

As to 4 X 8, usually understood as the comment would be "4 X 8" sheets of plywood or drywall.

With trucks, many people would know this is a common question, "would you be able to fit 4 X 8 sheets and close the tailgate. Or will they sit flat between the wheelwells.

A 4" X 8" piece of wood would be very uncommon.

The "reveal" did not reveal much. There was a women named Molly on the live chat during the who acted like she was from Bollinger and said around 60k for 60 kWh version and 200 mile range on the 120 kWh version. No promises Molly was actually from Bolliger, so take these numbers with a grain of salt.
