I keep checking it, and am confused and disappointed (while also relieved) by the lack of activity. "Bonnie driving White X sightings" sounds like a good thread to me. I think Bonnie's guessing October for delivery. My WAG is Oct 14. Let the betting begin.
I'm starting to post in various threads re configuration, road trip, etc ... so thought we could corral it all in one thread. Configured Sept 1, 2015 No doubt I'll pick up a set of 20s and put winter tires on - but first things first . The cold weather package may be jettisoned if it really is going to impact delivery date. Finding out now. I'm planning a roadtrip after delivery (and Xpel) - most likely one circular route through SoCal, Texas, South Bend, Chicago, MN, Idaho, PNW, and home. Once I know, I'll post - and then keep it updated daily with supercharging plans via my twitter account (Bonnie Norman (@bonnienorman) | Twitter). I'd love it if I could meet people in various locations and show the X.
I bet you're Xtra Xcited. Wishing you an Xtremely Xcellent delivery and Xciting Xcursion. too much?
Congratulations, Bonnie! Can't wait to hear all about it. Ludicrous mode? Of course! Now, I need to go for a drive after all this lusting over X.
So any idea where you will go? To some people, a "road trip" is anything involving a Supercharger, and to others it means coast-to-coast. If there aren't any MX's in showrooms yet when you are traveling, people will be trekking to meet you along the way!
Please consider swinging through Denver/Boulder. We have a large Tesla community here that would appreciate seeing it, and I might not have mine by then yet.
Any chance you'll make it any further east? I believe I speak for all of New York City when I say we'd love to have you. After all, where do you think New York Super Fudge Chunk comes from (and don't say Vermont!). -CB
Oh oops. Definitely Colorado. After 20+ years in Boulder, I'd be in trouble if I didn't stop . (Don't tell SteveZ that I forgot, please.) - - - Updated - - - See the roughly projected route in the first post (last paragraph). When I say 'Texas', it means San Antonio/Austin/Cuero area (lots of musician friends there), then head north from there.
Couldn't miss getting a Buc-ee's breakfast burrito! And my favorite bbq at City Market in Luling. OMG. That's the best.
Well, if you come to North Texas, we have an apartment with HPWC you're welcome to use and we'll get the local faithful together. We have bbq and breakfast burritos that challenge the best!
Thanks Bonnie! If I'm in the country at the time, looking forward to greeting you in Seattle - and to hearing some Flowhive stories too
