We bought a CPO Model X last Wednesday and it was in our Tesla account very shortly after taking delivery, within an hour or so. We already had a Model S in the app and things were fine until this morning when the Model X wouldn't connect. The Model S connected without a problem. So I logged out of my Tesla app and then logged back in and the Model X was missing and only our Model S was there. So I just chatted with Tesla Support and she said the following after fixing it and having me log out and then back into the Tesla app:
"We are currently updating to a new system and it is causing grief in our recent delivered."
So, if you are having issues with a recently delivered Tesla not connecting or missing from your app, you might need to contact Tesla Support.
