The first few days I noticed on my drive:
- a huge street flood just on the street I was driving
- a bunch of styfroam nuggets like a set of packing boxes had opened to release the styrofoam popcorn just in my lane
- two boxes on the freeway lane I was in
- very smoggy/black smoke from exhaust truck right in front of me in my lane

In all of the above instances, seemed like the gods were conspiring to mar my new auto baby. Thankfully in all of the above instances except the latter, I was able to avoid in advance.

This weekend, I was in Orlando and for a 1 mile stretch of highway, some truck must have lost a bunch of traffic cones. It was hilarious since some landed upright and others sideways. Cars were swerving around them. It was like high-speed autocross. I wish I had a dashcam on the rental car.
