Brake Caliper painter in SoCal?

For all the members who are caught up on the price. This service is obviously all about preparation. I agree to 1000 is not cheap, however it is a custom job with specific matching paint and decals. I would be cautious of anything under $500. We have an extremely talented and respected specialist that does all of our calipers. The amount of preparation he puts into protecting the vehicle on top of the work he produces is second to none. Its all up to the individual. Some can justify spending loads of money on a vehicle, then short the custom work done. Ask many questions when doing work like this. Warranties, guarantees, how they prep, are they certified to remove calipers, insured if they didn't reinstall correctly. We do almost as much work fixing improper applications as we do new work. We hate seeing people double pay for work. Unfortunately, it happens all the time.

Which ebay vendor did you get the decals from?

Surfah, thanks for info!
Thank you! I bought from this seller
12pc TESLA Brake Caliper Set Vinyl Sticker Decal Logo Overlay Graphics | eBay

I got them in white

On a side note, I made my own jack pads to lift the car and use jack stands with. Dont see how you are going to do it without them. Check out posts Iv made to find the thread on them.

Unless you are tracking your tesla and doing high speed braking there is no need for special high temp caliper paint. Most of the over the counter caliper paint will do just fine. I personally ended up doing a rattle can duplicolor application on my auto X car and with several track days with track temps being well over 100 F my caliper paint has yet to be a problem. I have also taken it to WSIR SOW and ACS infield.

I will admit the prep work is key though. And usually I recommend if you are doing a caliper paint job you may as well take it off and inspect the caliper just in case. I mean unless it is a brand new or fairly new vehicle.

An extra step you can do is once you are done painting you can go to a professional detailer and have them ceramic coat the calipers for you. It is a step I did. I went to D'elegance Detailing 619-718-0031 and opted for their Ceramic Pro coating. Did a really good job and the price was very fair. My detailer was the one who informed me on the differences of caliper paint. He told me he could charge me to do it, or I could save a few pennies by doing it myself and told me how. The thing with D'elegance is he is not just a detailer but he also races cars and builds them. He has a badass time attack car.
