It might be worth your while when you get this problem resolved to give your car a good decontamination wash. Those little iron particles from the break dust could embed in your clear coat and should be removed. This are commonly called "rail dust." These are typically removed with something like CarPro IronX. Be forewarned if you purchase an Iron remover, for the most part they have a serious odour, and your neighbours will know about it. When the chemical comes in contact with iron it will bleed purple-red. Always read the directions.
