I rented a Plaid on Turo. The brakes had low bite but the pedal did not feel mushy. I was expecting that, and I'm spoiled coming from a Model 3 with BBK and race pads.
After some light spirited driving on back roads, the "Brake fluid low" message came up. I pulled over immediately and inspected the brake fluid level, which was close to max. I then drove the car slowly and after a few minutes, the message went away. When using the brakes more aggressively again, the message came back, and went away again after being gentle with the brakes. There was no change in pedal feel during all this time.
The car was a rental, so has likely seen quite a bit of abuse.
Sharing this mostly as a curiosity.
