Break disengage failure or something else?

Yesterday my model X suddenly started making a weird clunking sound when accelerating from a full stop or from regenerative breaking.

Also the steering became more heavy (especially in turns) and makes some weird sound (like metal bending).

Wonder if it is de break that fails to disengage or something else. Have a SEC appointment in like 2 weeks, but wonder if I can still drive the car. Any advice/info is welcome.

Did wash the car, but drove about 50 miles afterwards without any issue untill I had to stop for a traffic sign.

Clunking? That's not normal. Metal bending is not normal either. You should not be driving your car until you know what the cause of that is. Once you know, it's up to you to make an informed decision. But, I would not blindly drive the car based off what somebody on the internet says.

I hope you haven't been driving on a broken control arm.
