On the background of why we like the good side:

On peace: The peace deals in the Middle East, of course. Saves millions of people!

On opening up free markets in USA for USA citizens: we are allowed to work and live again, rather than die in the war of China against us (who have killed a million of us with fentanyl in the last 20 years alone, besides millions of others around the world in the wars).

And finally, on why some think the fighting is happening at all: my take: I believe in positive-sum improvement like inventions and smart development by many individuals, making everything better, whereas others believe in zero sum fighting and death and slavery under central mob rule and unithink. Mars would be more than a 0 sum list of resources. Titan next, etc. Whereas the 0 sum version is keep us on Earth as slaves in misery.
