Come join us for Earth Day Texas in Dallas! It’s our biggest public outreach event of the year and we’d love a huge Tesla owner attendance. The pressure’s on since we understand that Tesla won’t be exhibiting this year. Tesla Owners Club of North Texas is the registered exhibitor and we hold the required general liability insurance, but we invite all Tesla owners to our public outreach events (this one and NDEW). The organizers expect 75,000 attendees this year.

All Tesla owners are invited to join us at Earth Day Texas! You don't have to be a Tesla Owners Club of North Texas Member to come!

Join other Tesla owners and show off your car at Earth Day Texas! Earth Day Texas is focused on environmental education and awareness, and it is the world’s largest annual forum for sharing the latest initiatives, discoveries, research, innovations, policies, products, and corporate practices that are reshaping our world.

Earth Day Texas is our best opportunity to educate the public on the benefits of electric vehicles. We get to show off our cars to hundreds, if not thousands of potential owners!

We have early admission, free parking inside the event at Fair Park and access to lots of Tesla and other electric vehicle owners! You don’t have to stay with your car the entire time — we have plenty of people to watch all of the cars while you step away to check out the great exhibits!

We have room for only fifty cars per day. Register now, to ensure you have a spot -- please cancel your registration if your plans change. SATURDAY is the big day with the highest crowds, but we are also there on Friday and Sunday as well. Come to any or all of the days if you want!

If you came in 2015 and were disappointed in the location, fear not! The organizers promise that we’re back near Big Tex Circle, like we were in 2014.

This event is open to all Tesla owners! Tesla Owners Club of North Texas is happy to host all Tesla owners who want to come and join the fun.

More details will be released closer to the event, but expect to be at Fair Park by 9:30 am for admission and escort to our location at 9:45 am.

Earth Day Texas is only two weeks away and it's not too late to join us. Leilani Münter will be speaking and we'll have as many as fifty Teslas there. Space is filling fast, so don't delay: Bring Your Tesla To Earth Day Texas - 2016 | @NTXTeslaOwners

We had a small contingent of Teslas at the Earth Day Event today.
LOTS of school age kids as part of their classes dropped by today.

I really expect a bigger mix of every age-range attendees tomorrow.

Please go to Gate 3, Enter, and make it past the LARGE inflated lion and bear, Spot 800.
My understanding is there will be around 37 Teslas there tomorrow!

Be there early for BEST parking spots.
A folding chair might be a good thing to bring also.

I wish I had checked back here for info. With 11 gates, and not being familiar with Fair Park, of course I didn't pick gate 3.

In any event, those of us that picked gate 6 eventually found our way to you, and I have to say the entire event was fabulous. Seeing all the Teslas was awesome.

The exhibits were fabulous. It gives me hope for the future to see all this stuff going on.

Thanks for having this event, and I hope to drive back from Amarillo to do it again.

What a great weekend at Earth Day Texas! We had perfect weather, record crowds and many people excited to see our cars!

We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to show off our cars. We had a location that was close to perfect — especially once we figured out that putting Kris's Very Orange Roadster at the main gate might attract a few people to see us!

Our members and our friends from NTEAA attended all three days and we fielded thousands of questions about electric cars. The questions were more sophisticated than prior years; many people knew about the Model 3 (and many people had placed their deposit on one); the buzz at the Automotive exhibits was, “where are the Teslas?”; and of course, we met several Model S owners who had no clue there was a club in North Texas (never fails to disappoint us).

The attendance of 130,669 blew away prior records and Saturday alone had as many attendees (61,000) as the prior three-day record. Now some would say it was because of the “Tiny House Village,” but we know it was because of the thirty-plus Teslas — at least that’s what the three young men who drove down from Tulsa to see us said.
