Bringing in Already Upgraded to Ludicrous to Swap Out to New Bolts.

I just received a call to bring in my already upgraded to Ludicrous P85D to swap out the bolts for contactors. I was informed that the previous bolts have tendency to come loose, and the new ones will resolve this issue. Tesla will pick up my car at the house with a loaner this Thursday (3/03). Anyone with additional information on this?

I had this done late last week. Basically, they had to re-do the whole retrofit to get access to the bolts. Took about a day and a half.

I mentioned this in the upgrade scheduling thread. Mine was upgraded on March 10th and they setup an appointment for last week to update the bolts. The actual work was completed in about 1/2 day, but with them picking up and dropping off the car it took most of a day.

Guessing you mean January 10 or February 10, not March 10.

Mine was upgraded in December. I called and they told me that another P85DL that was done the week after me in Fremont was inspected and was found to be ok, so they don't need to do mine......I hope :scared:
