Broken Model Y Performance

Hello all,

Sad day for me today. 2,000km and my Tesla Model Y Performance seems to be having some significant issues. It started with me putting my foot to the floor, and at about 100km/h I heard a noise, as if I ran over a small pothole. From there, I noticed the rear end vibrates on the passenger side any time I accelerate. Now after about 100km of not worrying about it much, I hear a clunk sometimes when I let off the gas, or get my foot on the accelerator even slightly and the vibration worsened severely.

Has anyone else had similar issues? I'm hoping for just a bad CV axle, and not the rear motor failing.

Stop driving it? Get it into service asap. Why'd you wait so long after the first clunk?

Obviously once home I stopped driving it. However if the car was fine under no significant load, I'd rather not pay for a tow truck for my 14 day old car. Thank you.

I would go straight to the nearest SC, hand them the card or fob, and say "fix it".
