With the announcement recently from Elon Musk, those of us who own either color and the 40 kwh battery are now considered the rarest of the rarest in the Tesla Model S world. Just wanted to throw this out there.

I toured the factory a few weeks back, and while the green and brown were the rarest, they were also the most stunning. I really hope this is a temporary trimming of the color palette...the remaining options seem so limited and pedestrian.

Yep I saw that thread as soon as I posted. Bummer.
I need to call my neighbor who had a Brown on a deferred order, with delivery scheduled for March (to avoid Winter commutes). Though who knows what the color palette will contain come March.

Since I missed out on Brown with the S, we had plans on getting it for the X. Sorry to see it go. Almost makes me want to pick up a used one (ALMOST haha)
