I was there about a month ago - no public chargers that I could see. The place was pretty empty of TESLA vehicles. They did call us when they received a MYLR a couple of days later so we went and demo drove that vehicle. Subsequently placed an order with an EDD of Oct -Jan 2023.

The closest public chargers are in Brownville, with more being built in Harlingen. Once in awhile you see public chargers at Service Centers, but not usually.

Does that mean no superchargers coming there at all?

I believe that to be the case.

The Brownsville Superchargers (250kW) are about 3 more exits down I69E and a few busy blocks east to the H‑E‑B Plus on Ruben M. Torres Blvd., about 6 miles from Brownsville SC in total.
