The web browser in my new Model S seems to not like PDFs.

JPGs display just fine.

But anytime I click on a link to a PDF I get an error message.

Is this normal?

Also, I sometimes get messages from websites I'm on that I need to update Flash. That's usually accompanied by a link to an update.

I *thought* the only updates came from Tesla. Correct? Or is it possible to update the browser and/or parts of it separate from Tesla?

Don't know about the question on PDF files, but the Tesla web browser does not support Flash. You can't install it from Adobe either. Updates for the web browser are included with the firmware for the Model S. You can't update the browser by itself.
