Newbie here - had my '21 M3 for a month. How can I report bugs to Tesla 'after the fact' as opposed to using a voice report when it happens?

You cant... and the bug report you do in your car doesnt go anywhere, it stays local to the car. It would be used if you took your car into service or contacted tesla for an issue and told them "I did a bug report", because that puts a pointer in the cars log files.

Thats all its used for.

Thanks. So asking it a different way, how would you suggest I contact Tesla for an issue?

They don't have a normal customer service portal, unlike every other decent company on earth. If it's service related, you can make a service appointment in your app. Otherwise you can try tweeting elon, or yodeling from your back yard - they both work about as well.

Try sending a bug report from the Tesla Support web page (at bottom):
Customer and Product Support | Tesla Support

That goes to their chat support service. It used to be really slow, but I tried it earlier this week and got on with someone really quickly.
