No. It isn’t a button. It’s just an icon letting you know that the right scroll wheel controls cruise control and autopilot.

It actually is a button. But Tesla, at some point, figured it wasn’t a great idea to stick a capacitive autopilot button right next to the horn.

That is the reason it was re-mapped to the right scroll wheel and why it no longer functions like any other vehicles in the fleet.

I wonder why they cannot use the microphone button to answer a phone call? It's interesting that when you receive an incoming text message the microphone button will transcribe and play the message. When you receive an incoming phone call and press the microphone button nothing happens?

It's a good question, and bananas you have to use the touch screen to answer calls.

In some ways, yes. e.g. the way the turn signals used to work on these cars was appalling. Many here will never know just how bad they were in mid-2021 prior to the software update that removed soft-touch application from all yoke buttons.
