Buying a used Model X, 3rd party, advice needed.

Hey Guys.

I have a MS, and one of my best friends is looking at a Model X, probably 3rd party, not CPO.

Are there VIN numbers to avoid (like the first 10K)?
Around when did they come out with AP2.0 - approx VIN range wanted here.

He's looking for a dark exterior, with 6 seats.
Any additional advice?

Thanks.

there is no specific range of VINs that are known to have specific issues. general rule of thumb is the earlier builds have a lot more fit/finish issues than the newer builds. I once drove a signature X with the build quality of a, well im not sure how to describe it.

AP2.0 came out in Late 2016. Best way to tell for sure is just to look for the extra cameras. Chances are if the car comes with free lifetime supercharging that transfers with the car, it doesn't have AP2.0.
