Buying TPMS Sensors

I will be using new wheels this spring so I needed to purchase Tesla Model Y TPMS.
It sucks that they are not available in Tesla online store.
I called service center and chose parts store. No one ever picked up and I did not leave a message.
Today I called and left a message as well.
I had the phone number for my service center.
I sent them a text message asking them to help me purchase TPMS.
30 minutes later I got an email to accept the invoice for TPMS.
I accepted and I got a text message saying that I can pick up the TPMS from the counter at any time.
I will be picking them up from Eden Prairie MN Tesla Service Center.

Text message was the quickest way to order TPMS for me.

2 common options are, either open a service ticket and under "other" requests the over the counterparts. Pass by an SC if nearby and ask to buy them. You'll need the securing nuts that they use to attach to the rim. its a different part# few cents each, they should be aware of that but FYI.

Yikes, are there no alternatives yet?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I got alternatives for the previous TPMS for $99 pre-programmed.
Maybe bluetooth makes this more expensive and hard to replicate.
Nope. The new TPMS are proprietary to Tesla only. No other automaker uses them as yet. I am pretty sure the newly refreshed S and X will use the same ones. Just another "creative" way Tesla makes fast cash!. Way to go Elon!
