I've read the info on a couple of threads about where to place the unit. I've tried everywhere that's been mentioned and nothing works.
2016 refreshed model S with the black space to the right of the mirror
My unit I purchased at Safeway and is a little bigger then a deck of cards

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Also mods place this in a different thread if I'm in the wrong place

Mine is temporarily under the driver side mirror mount (yes, outside on the mirror mount). Glued in with E6000 after scuffing the chrome a bit.
I say temporarily because I don't want it to stay there but at least it works.
