How much bigger are the purple stickers compared to the red ones ?

The purple sticker has larger white outline. I don't have both to compare, but RPM Tesla sells a separate under sticker protection film for the purple sticker, which implies that the size of the purple sticker is different from the red sticker.

I ordered the stickers and also waiting for my HOV stickers to arrive as well. It would be a bummer if they are too small for the purple stickers.

I just received my purple decals. They are a different size and do NOT fit on these stickers. If you want to use these stickers, you will have to cut some of the white part of the purple decals. Not sure if I want to do that or just go with some PPF.

I guess I'm in the same boat. Ordered these ahead of time, and am disappointed that when I receive the new stickers, they won't fit. Not that it was something @skylargray could've anticipated though - can we get an exchange or something?

I tested in on another member’s Model 3 with PPF film already on his car. Came off cleanly no problems, no residue, no effect on the PPF or the clean-cling.

I tried it on my car with XPEL Stealth paint protection film and yes, it comes off easily. However, since the purple stickers are actually slightly larger than the vinyl clean-cling cutouts I ordered, I discovered that the portion of the HOV sticker extending beyond the vinyl backing actually peels off of the paint protection film easily as well.

Made me wonder if these vinyl backing stickers are even necessary if you have paint protection film. My guess is that the heavier vinyl clean-cling backing will last longer with repeated removals than just the stickers alone since it's a heavier material.

Now where can I get a couple full sheets of this material since the set I ordered is too small?

Oh, and I should add: as soon as I put the four stickers on (placed as low as possible in each dictated location), I removed them immediately because they're quite the eye-sore on the car. But we all knew that.

Here's a picture showing how much bigger the purple stickers are compared to the vinyl backers made for the red stickers. I trimmed the "tail" of the vinyl so it would not extend out beyond the sticker and I boosted the contrast in this photo to make it easier to see the exposed edge of the HOV sticker:

I just picked up 3M PPF from StickerKnight.com. They are a perfect fit for the Purple new HOV stickers. The price was reasonable and the shipping was quick.

I think it's pretty safe to snip a bit of the white to make it fit the stickers. I decided to go with PPF since I had some lying around.

But holy hell, these new lavender stickers are an eyesore, especially on red Model 3s.

I'd say they don't fit. The HOV decals are somewhat larger than the "clear cling" decals all the way around. This likely means you'll have trouble removing the decals cleanly when you wish. (I was able to because my whole car is covered in paint protection film.) I've ordered a few sheets of craft cling film from Amazon to try.

after you posted the raw link, then imbedded image showed with a refresh???

I’m curious, wouldn’t it have been easy to trim the purple HOV stickers
to match the size of the clear cling removable film!

You could trim it, but it would obviously then be trimmed. Probably wouldn’t be an issue but I’d rather not mess with the official decal.

Regarding the embedded image, I’m going to just assume then that something interfered with access to my home web server (where the image is hosted) during the time you were loading the page.
