CA HOV sticker reapplication and paint protection solution

Just received my HOV stickers going to put them on the the cling this weekend.

Just wondering, I decided to go ceramic recently.
I know normal stickers won't work with ceramic coatings.
I'm woundering if their will be issues with the cling? Any one apply to a ceramic coating how is it holding up normally and during washes etc.. Thanks

I would think a cling would work better then a sticker in this situation if it does might be a good selling point for thouse that have gotten ceramic

I have the cling removable stickers and ceramic paint coating... No problems.
Apply when the car has just been cleaned. I use my Adams Ceramic Waterless Wash immediately before I stick on. Wash your hands! We often remove stickers from the wax paper and the car the same way every time. This will begin to develop a dirty edge and promote edge lift. Wipe the wax paper before putting the sticker back in its envelope. Just figure that before you place it in the next place, you're going to wipe away dust and dirt and your going to feel anal about it, LOL.
I'm sooo glad I have the cling removable stickers and love not having ugly stickers on 24/7.

The clean-clings might be a good option for you

I agree and would add a great option. A sticker with no more "sticker" could still be glued to the clean cling and put back into use. No re- ordering pain in the @#*!!

For anyone not in Cali and looking for a solution. I received the phototex fabric and cut it out to size of my clean pass stickers. They’re Easy to cut. I’ve applied and removed them a handful of times already and so far have worked out great. My car is ceramic coated and they’re not going anywhere. I do make sure to fully clean the area with quick detail spray before being applied.

• Have blue stickers already or have them on order.
• Have a flatbed scanner and can scan your blue stickers
• Want a free set of clean-clings!

I will ship you a set of the current clean-clings for free.
What I ask for in return is that you compare your blue stickers against the clean-clings and verify that the sizes match (or not) along with hi-res scans.

The CA DMV has been known to change the size of these stickers over the years.
If our current clings don't fit the new blues, I will use the scans provided to create a new size...and send the gracious volunteer a set of the new clean-cling sizes after I have them made.
