CA HOV stickers ( Purple ) wait time?

Finally got my CA HOV stickers for my Tesla Model 3.

It took 8 weeks from when I sent my application.

Here was the entire timeline. I’m curious to know what other CA Tesla owners timelines are?

-Got my car 6/18
-Received CA license plate 7/20
(6 weeks)


-Sent CA HOV application 7/21
-Received CA HOV stickers 9/20
(8wks)

Our stickers took three months from our June 7th delivery date.

I mailed it on 7-17 and received it on 9-17. Exactly 2 months, it just seemed longer.
I even got my HOV removable stickers from skylargray in a week. Felt like 3 months, LoL...

After two months with no stickers, I realized I had forgotten to include a check for the $22 fee.

Applied towards end of June, got them last week of August.

Check cashed on Sept 11th.
Received stickers on Sept. 20th

At this point I would wait until next year’s stickers are available to get an extra year’s worth of access.
