CA hov white stickers exp 1/1/19

I just bought a 2016 X P90D that was from Colorado, then was owned in Los Angeles for six months. I don't think it has ever been issued the California HOV sticker. It looks like they only want each car gets one bite at the apple? Does that mean this car may qualify to pay for one?

If your VIN # is not on the list, then it is eligible for a new sticker...

You rock! It's not there. I went to a Tesla Supercharger and it got charged for free. That's kind of cool. Didn't know a 2016 gets that.
