CA license plate arrival?

Hi all,

I picked up my new M3 from Marina Del Rey (SoCal) on 12/30/19. Still haven’t received license plates from the DMV...it’s been well over 6 weeks now. Anybody else having this same issue?

I waited two months on mine. I called DMV to track the status. They even confirmed that these are made by State inmates....

I received my car end of nov 2019. Had to wait 2.5 month to receive my plates. I even had to call dmv to find out what is going on. Dmv stated that my temporary plate which they stick in the windshield is good for 3 month. They are cutting it very close if u ask me.

took delivery 12/31 at Costa Mesa and just got my plates on Tuesday, 2/18.

Picked up on 12/27 and plates arrived on 2/20. Picked up from the Marina Del Rey location as well.

Take a trip over to your local DMV, sometimes they have them for a while but takes them forever to send out the notice.

Took me two months for the plates, and I expect the CAV decals will be another couple of months.

Don't forget to apply for the CA clean air vehicle rebate, which you can do before you get your plates.
