I received my VIN on Thursday. Yesterday, Friday, I received the text to schedule delivery. There were appointments available from 6/19-6/21 at the Costa Mesa SC. 6/21 worked best for me. I've not made the payment yet. I plan to do the ACH payment at time of delivery, full payment, no financing.

Good luck!!
So excited for you! You'll have to post pics!

I completed the profile the following day, i.e 04/12. I was told to hold on the financing part till I am notified about it. I got a text from them on 05/14 which said this “
Congratulations on your order!

Head to Tesla.com, and click 'Tesla Account', to login and finalize your profile submission. If account is not complete, it is possible you will not receive a vehicle in June and will be waiting until September for delivery based on current demand. Please reply "SEPTEMBER" if you wish to wait until then for delivery. Your delivery is on hold until you hit the "I'M READY" button online and complete your remaining steps.

Thank you!

I immediately did what was asked and then I received this on 05/19

I reached out to my SA and she said this is the time to arrange for financing and I did what was asked the same evening. Till that day my Edd was some date in Jun, the moment I completed the financing part my Edd disappeared for a long time and just for a day or two it showed 06/29-06/31. After that it has been all over the place.. really depressing experience.
I am in need of a bigger car with my pregnant wife and my family. My SA/operations specialist are just repeating what the EDD is showing up on my account. I am thinking of going with a different used ICE car if I don’t get it by 1st week of Jul.
Did you have it set to cash then? If not your profile didn’t finish until then and you’re in the queue from that point, not original day.

Got an e mail this morning apologizing for their mistake concerning payment. EDD in the last 2 days went from September to July and back to June today. However, it had been hovering between 19, 20, 21st to the 30th, today went to June 24-30. I'm just happy EDD is back to June.
Good luck to everyone.

Burbank here as well and almost near identical specs as yours (no induction wheels)

they told me the same thing and no vin yet

my date moved back by one day so now it’s 21-30th vs 20-30

I know exactly what you have been going through. I ordered on 04/20/21 and I was told to wait on the payment method part and not to complete the step until mid-May, well I did not follow their advice and applied through their available finance program right away. I learned later after speaking with at least 6 SAs which I got many different answers that they prioritize your order based on the completed profile which includes completing the payment method (that's why most of us choose cash method for this reason).
There have been many misguidances from the factory itself traveling all the way to the delivery end. You can clearly see Tesla is not the best when it comes to customer satisfaction when delivery is the subject. You don't agree? check your emails received from Tesla during the last couple of weeks regarding their glitchy systems.

I wish I had known this earlier. What a waste of my time by taking their BS advise, that’s so lame of me..Thank you! I’ll educate as many people as I could about the Reps BS training and knowledge about their job.

Cool! Did they give you the standard 9am-6pm window or do you have a tighter time frame?
received standard 9am - 6pm window, they showed up at around 11am this morning and i officially took delivery!!!

she looks great. i went through the checklist and there were some minor issues, specifically on panels and hubcaps, but nothing major. i'm super happy with it. there is light at the end of the tunnel - hang in there everyone, the wait is worth it. super grateful for this "support network" over the past few weeks. go team blue!!!

btw, anyone take delivery and have issues with premium connectivity?

I don’t think this entirely correct. If there is a car available, they may prioritize someone who has a complete profile. But it doesn’t put you in the back of the line once you complete it.
So, as with anything, take with a grain of salt- but it’s exactly the verbiage that I was told at the showroom. Until the profile is complete, won’t be included in queue for car- so complete as fast as you can if you want it soon. That said, Tesla does what Tesla wants to do, so who knows. However, the emails the OP got seem to indicate the profile completion was required for being eligible for a car.

I agree that there’s a lot of inconsistent information being thrown around and the process Tesla employs is very opaque.

I ordered MYLR white with black interior, induction wheels and tow without FSD on April 3rd and was given a 5 to 9 week delivery timeframe. It’s now been over 11 weeks and the app currently projects assigning a VIN between July 20 and August 10th. Decisions made to support vehicle would have not been made and now I’m in a difficult situation since selling my truck last month.
I have the same EDD with the same specs of the car. Maybe all white with black interior MYLR are going to be built around that time?

So who’s your SA if you place an online order? Been trying to get ahold of someone (anyone) for days now to adjust my down payment and no one at the Rocklin Tesla answers the phone (sales or delivery). I’ve chatted with Tesla and they have told me three time they sent my SA a message to contact me and they would reach out within 48 hours… been almost 72 hours now. And tips to get ahold of someone?
