I’m “solidly” back in September. EDD 9/29-9/30, can’t wait to see what EDD Sunday brings.

According to the app MY delivery date changed again: August 16th to September 3rd. Ironically 2weeks ago SA said soft match VIN date was today the 14th. Reasonably delayed deliveries I think not! Tesla claims part shortages, that’s BS when there pumping out performance models.

Mine has EDD of 9/16-9/30 for the past 3 days.

This morning's update moved back to September: 9/25-9/30.

We have the same car and I ordered just 3 days after you… my current EDD is 9/18 to 9/30 what’s yours ?

All three of us have the same color and very similar spec I think I am the only one with 20”. We have close EDD let’s hope we get our VINs at the same time!

Congrats!! I see in your sig you scheduled delivery. Curious what was the window of delivery dates that you could choose from? If/when I get closer need to figure out how much time I’ll have to move funds/sell current car/get cashiers check etc.

It was Tuesday 8/17 - Thursday 8/19, usually, all pickup timeframes are 3 days.

You are correct. Every time somebody order a Performance, we are pushed back.

Can someone explain why performance models are built so much faster? Is it simply that they’re prioritized at the factory or is it a technical reason? Why wouldn’t all Y just be queued simultaneously?

Oh snap! My EDD actually moved UP by two weeks today. Biggest EDD bump I've seen in a while! was 9/7 - 9/26 and now 8/23 - 9/12.

It’s likely because Tesla is making more $$ on performance model.

Thanks! I'm not going to hold my breath though. But just kinda nice to see it move in a favorable direction for a change.

I'm completely fine if it moves back though... My Tesla Wall charger installation appointment isn't until Sept 13 so I have some time.
