Cabin Overheat Protection glitch - stops working after remotely enable then disable climate control?

So Cabin Overheat Protection works generally for my LR, BUT, if I turn on the climate control remotely, and then turn the climate control off, then COP stops working. I've tried a few things such as locking/unlocking the car, turning COP on/off, and even restarting the OS, but nothing works.

Eventually it will work again...somehow... I am still trying to figure out the exact conditions to re-enable COP, if you will, after remotely messing w/ climate control.

Anyone have similar experience? I am on 2022.12.3.3, but this glitch has always been there AFAIK.
