I just noticed this today as well in my S. Is this new? I'm 99% sure cabin overheat was working over the summer - my car would never get over about 104 degrees according to my app, and my battery would be 10-15 miles less when I got in to go home after work. But I've always had the alarm engaged.

The controls also allow both to be engaged at once - you would think if one was engaged the other would be grayed out.

Took delivery a couple of days ago and my cabin overheat protection mode was not allowing me to enable it at first. They 'fixed it' and now I can't (never could) enable security alarm.

Is this as simple as 'dude your sentry mode is enabled and takes care of the security alarm...'???
