Cabin overheat protection

On Saturday my wife drives the MY to work and it is parked outside - probably 30 degrees F when she got there warming to about 40 in afternoon. So around 2:00pm I get a message on my phone that the car is 95 degrees inside and cabin overheat protection has been enabled. What the heck happened? How does the car get to 95 when it is 40 outside. Car not really in direct sunlight either. She parks in same spot and I've not seen this happen when the outside temps were in the 80s or 90s. Windows are tinted.

I hit the button to vent the windows from the app and drove to her work to see what was going on - 5 min away. Car was clearly warm inside but I seriously doubt it was 95 in there, maybe 75-80. Anyway, I rebooted the car and rolled the windows down. Everything seems to be fine now.

Anyone have anything similar happen? Should I be worried or was this just a quirk?
