Cabin wind noise

Hi everyone, I took delivery of a MY LR earlier today, and on the freeway at speeds over ~65 mph, I noticed quite a bit of wind noise coming from the left side mirror/vent-ish area. Almost as if the fan was turned up high. No similar noise from the passenger side.

I understand that MYs aren't the quietest but read that this could also be related to windshield misalignment. Anyone have experience with something similar? How did you attempt to resolve the issue? Not opposed to getting a noise reduction kit but wondering if this is more serious. Everything else about the car was great.

I've never had this issues but these would be the steps I'd take.

1. check alignments
2. using masking tape to make gapless sections of the area I believe it affecting it
3. start dialing back on tape
4. If it gets loud again, you know where the affected region is so now go complain

Another thing to try: Look in the manual for how to recalibrate the window, and do that. Your window may not be fully closed. You get one guess how I know about this! (Good news is once I did that it's been fine.)

FYI I noticed this thread that showing a piece that may not have been properly seated and can be snapped together by hand

Been "suffering" through this since delivery. Third time - today - results = replaced my windshield and sunroof!

Now the will require re-tint UGHH!

Yup, a lot better! still decent road noise but man, the whistling is gone!
