Hello,
Newbie here on Gen 1 Roadsters. I’m looking to purchase a 2.5 Roadster sport (no battery upgrade) Currently I own a X Perf and a S Plaid on the way.
I’ve read on TMC many owners reference the the importance of the CAC battery reading as owners and potential buyers. How do I get this reading? Looking at the most recent Tesla yearly service record, for the car I’m considering, I don’t see any mention of the battery health or CAC measurement…only a perfunctory note stating the PEM has been inspected and cleaned and vehicle operates as it should. Can this CAC measurement be done only at Tesla SC or Gruber/Medlock? Anywhere else? The motors I’m presuming are fine given its low mileage but I could be wrong to assume; so is this something to be checked as well? I basically want to cover as many bases as possible before writing a check. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Fred
