Are there any banks with such rates outside of California? I am in North Carolina. I am paying 4.49 for 72 months and local CU has 3.25 for 72 months. Any better than that? I would love somewhere in 2% vicinity
Just applied. Lady said it takes about 3 days to get a final approval but I did qualify for their lowest rate (795 TU Fico). Yes, you’re right about the payment needing to come from their account. Thanks again.
That’s pretty easy right? Just auto deposit transfer the payment In to EECU account each month.
Yes, I’ll have my bank auto deposit the loan amount monthly from my checking!
I think you did! Congrats
Did the rates change or am I missing something? It now shows 4.15% for 72 months..
Not sure why nobody searches eecu Fresno. Pretty sure you brought up the eecu in Texas.
Well, that was easy (and a little embarrassing). Thank you!
I was told from EECU when calling that the rates would change but likely going up to 2.59% including the discount. How did you see it lower than advertised 2.19% on their site?
What qualifications did Lightstream require?
Curious how you net out. Let us know
Received a 3.69% rate due to some CC's I have. Not terrible, but not great.
They said you would qualify for the 2.19 rate?
They said most over 800 credit scores qualify for the 2.19. I was just shy.
I was approved today but have to drive down to Fresno to open an account in person. Oh well, I suppose it’s worth it to go from 3.75 to 2.19.
How far? I'm mailing mine in.
For some reason the rep said I needed to visit a branch in person to open up the checking account. It’s about a 140 mile drive for me so it is what it is.
Hi, i'm in Norcal.. So can anyone apply with this rate? i have credit score of 800.
I don't need to be a educational employee do i ?
If the car is to be titled in California you are eligible. If you don't fit their criteria for membership, you can join a local PTA for $10 to qualify.
