California License Plate/registration time

Finally got my plates and reg yesterday. Picked up car on 12/27.

Delivered 12/27, plates came 2/6.

^^^USPS. The return address was the Marina Del Rey service center although I took delivery of the car in Burbank..

I took delivery on 12/20 in Burbank .
I haven’t received my plates or registration.

I also haven’t had the funds from my bank transfer for the final payment come out of my bank account. Are these two things related? There’s no way that Tesla would not take my bank transfer, right?? Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, me too. Took delivery on 12/20 and I had deposited a cashiers check into my checking account same day but they put a hold on it and my final payment check did not clear. But I cleared up the next day and told them to run it back through and they never did. Then in January they asked about it and I told the new person to run it through and they said they would but still have not done so and I have not heard anything since.

I picked up my M3 on 12/17 and the standard/metal/white plates came in about 4 weeks.

BUT

It takes forrrreeeeever to receive vanity plates ... at least that is what is happening for me, right now!

My paper plate will be expired in few days but I still dont have my real plate. Tesla guy said it will take upto 90 days to get it. Whats my options?

Looks like plates are still taking more than 30 days? More like 60? Im on day 36 post home delivery in the Bay Area.
