I’m in Poway. Picked mine up at the Carlsbad SC October 2020 as a 2021 model. Didn’t have an option for home delivery then.

Pick up went like this:

little brother drove me up on appointment day and time, went in and checked in, they escorted to car staging area, we inspected for like 10 minutes, went back in lounge, handed over down payment check and signed a couple papers, 10 minutes later...they drove it out front and handed over key cards (Phone key didn’t work or register right away since they said it takes an hour or so to activate after they marked delivered)

A little sad I didn’t get heated steering, auto dimming mirrors, usb in glove compartment (no Tesla usb either), new headlights, new center console, and the new $1500 credit...but I bought the car because I loved the driving experience and would do all over again!

Thanks for the info! Gorgeous color, too! Are the wheels underneath the Gemini 19" already black or did you have those painted / powdercoated? They look great and kinda make me wish I would've saved the $2K on the Induction 20s.

50 minutes late! And they left it on the street outside my community. Pitch black, no street lightning, is no way to evaluate a vehicle for acceptance! Oh well, turns out it’s pretty much perfect. Lucked out!
They were about 40 minutes late for my delivery too Sunday. Thank goodness for daylight savings so I had some daylight left to inspect the car. There are a couple of gaps I’d like to take care of but so far I have not been able to reach anyone from my delivery center to address that. When they dropped it off I asked if there was a way to relay any problems and they said it would be in the envelope in the car....but nothing was there except the registration paperwork.

Anyone have any recommendations for reaching out and scheduling service on a home delivery car?

Schedule Service through the Tesla App on your phone, upload photos, describe issues, etc ?
 
Last night, my order status send expected delivery between March 17-28. This morning, a VIN 152xxx appeared and delivery between 1-2 weeks. SA says it left the factory on March 15. An hour or two later, status updated to delivery on March 17.

Last night, my order status send expected delivery between March 17-28. This morning, a VIN 152xxx appeared and delivery between 1-2 weeks. SA says it left the factory on March 15. An hour or two later, status updated to delivery on March 17.

lol, nice! I'm guessing this is for a 5 seater?
 
No squeaks, no panel gaps, no booming sensation, no buyers remorse!

Still no update for me on my Model Y LR, 7 Seat White Interior. Order placed Feb 7th. Don't know what the holdup is, but I haven't seen anyone get their Model Y 7 seaters with a white interior. Could just be a Bay Area issue.

I'm almost sure we'll be the very last of all orders placed in Q1 since we basically live next to Fremont. It makes sense though since our vehicles will not have to travel too far for delivery.
 
Tesla just updated the delivery time for the Bay Area on new orders to 1-2 weeks.
So for those of us with existing orders, I'd expect we should be hearing back rather soon.
My delivery time showing 03/18 to 03/28 - no VIN yet.

Seeing the same 1-2 week delivery time for Los Angeles Area for both Model Y and Model 3, that factory is burning the midnight oil (pun intended) for end of Quarter Deliveries

I'm in the Bay Area, so you probably know as the end of quarter approaches they tend to get to us so to make the numbers. Having said that, my estimated delivery was the last 10 days of the month and then on 3/10 they said they were ready to deliver in the next couple days. So your 1-2 weeks may suddenly go to "pay me now".

Woo hoo! my VIN just popped up in my account - 152XXX, ETA now says 2-5 weeks from date order placed.

Update 6:35PM PST: Delivery ETA is now 03/17-03/21
